The Invisible Interface
AI decisions become dangerous when their logic is hidden from the people affected by them, explainability must be designed as a usable interface.

Senior Product Designer · Human-AI Interaction
I design AI products people can actually understand, and I write about the moment where trust between humans and machines is won or lost.
Most AI products are designed to look trustworthy rather than to be trustworthy, and the difference is visible in the interface.
I’m a senior designer with 15+ years across product, publishing, and enterprise platforms. Since 2020 I’ve designed for an enterprise-scale customer engagement platform used by major European telcos, contributed design and communication work to the EU innovation initiative EdgeAI-Trust, and introduced AI workflows that measurably changed how teams produce and align.
My focus now is the layer where humans and AI meet: trust signals, transparency patterns, and the design decisions that keep people in control of systems they don’t fully see. I translate how AI actually works, for the teams building it and the people using it.

Όταν τα AI συστήματα αποφασίζουν χωρίς εξήγηση, το πρόβλημα είναι σχεδιαστικό, ο άνθρωπος χάνει τη δυνατότητα να καταλάβει και να αμφισβητήσει.
AI has value only when it supports a clearly understood decision; otherwise it hides poor problem framing behind a seductive shortcut.
In the age of AI overproduction, the designer’s core value shifts from making more outputs to deciding what deserves to exist.
Prompt engineering is the next essential literacy, the ability to think clearly and communicate with intention, human to machine.
The danger of AI is not machine domination but the quiet human retreat from agency, unless we design coexistence deliberately.
